BSR $

I found this in a local thrift store today. I think its a BSR, but not sure of the series. I passed on it as they were asking $25.00. Did I make a mistake?

I would save the money to put toward something not automation produced. Would it make a great user? Yes, but great users can be had for less. This is an early automation era BSR, from before the DISA machines, and could have been sold labeled either Red Mountain or Century.

Dave, would the early Red Mountain pans have the larger pour spouts?

Yes, and also the more crudely-incised and inconsistently-placed number and letter.

I think I found my answer here. BSR transition from Red Mountain to Century.

Bottom needs cleaning but the inside looks OK.
