Advice for Le Creuset Cast Iron Sauté Pan

Hello! Thank you everyone for the wealth of knowledge here. I’ve used the Cast Iron Restoration instructions to clean up an old pan that I had and it now works great.

I also have received a used Cast Iron Classic Sauté Pan with Wooden Handle. It’s in good shape, just noticing some patina or seasoning flaking on the cooking surface. Is there any special considerations for these pans? Is there a way to clean this off and get the entire pan back to its smooth original texture? Any help is appreciated. I’ve posted a photo below.

I'm thinking the interior is enamel like the outside, just black. Won't really be any way to restore it. Unless the flaking is something stuck on and the enamel is intact underneath.
