Hello. Mom passed away in March, Dad 2 weeks ago. I've been given that daunting task of figuring out what to do with all their "stuff". Thank you Mom & Dad. Just been trying to organize so I can figure out what is saleable and what is not.

Alan, I'm sorry for your loss. If you want to get rid of the cast iron you've inherited, I'm sure the folks in here can let you know what you have and what it's worth. Of course, some of us would feel those are heirlooms should stay in the family.

Sorry for your loss Alan. Consider keeping a few pieces, you can never get back a piece of family history.

Sorry for your loss, and as mentioned you may want to keep a few pieces.
If they hadn't been used in years and look rough they can be cleaned up like new. For me old tools and old kitchen stuff is as good or better than the new stuff.

There is a ton of new stuff for sale sitting on store shelves waiting too disappoint you now.

Look forward to hearing what you find in the kitchen. You may find a new favorite skillet or pot.

Steve,
