Default Skillet ID May Be Tough?!

I've had this skillet for some time but have never been able to ID it. Any help would be appreciated here are pictures :

The marking is consistent with CHF unmarked "number in diamond" pieces, but being indistinct as it is, it may be another, unknown foundry's copy using a CHF as a pattern.
