Whoops...dropped Bobby Flay griddle. Broken Handle

A series of unfortunate events led to my bobby flay cast iron griddle sliding off the countertop and onto a tile floor. The main handle has a small gash (no biggie) but the other handle snapped off.

Do you think JB weld would be alright to use for repairing this? Any other alternatives aside from getting someone to welding it..or doing nothing at all?

See attached pics.

Jb weldind is epoxi resin,it's like trying to hold those prices together with plastic basically, welding is more expensive than your gridlle, you can apply brass, I think called brace it,but it will have 2 tones, noticeable ,if is me I would grind the rest of handle flush,it will look much better than trying to fix it

Wound up cutting it straight with a dremel tool and sanding it down. About 20 mins work and quite happy with the result!
