Wagner find for $3

Picked up a Wagner skillet today at a flea market. It measures 9" across the top, and has what appears to be a "9" where the handle meets the body. The logo matches the one from this site described as "Wagner Ware Sidney -O- Stylized Logo, High (1924-1935, outside heat ring; 1935-1959, smooth bottom)". The pan is smooth bottom.

I can't make out the numbers at the bottom though. It looks like "1055D" or "1056D". I tried rubbing it with chalk, but still cant make numbers clearly. Tried pencil/paper rubbing the mark with no luck

I took a picture, but the markings aren't visible. Seems rust is main issue. Secondary, there is a little warping on the bottom.

Just wondering what my $3 might have got me :D

A rusty spinner for a buck a lb? A good piece to practice your cleaning skills on. At 9" diameter it should be an size 8.

I'm happy for $3 :D As you mentioned, it will give me a chance to practice cleaning it up. Already thinking about electrolysis.
