Lid Identification

Can anyone provide more information on this lid? From my research, it is most likely pre-1960's due to the dimple pattern and the handle connection and it is BSR. 8BX is located directly underneath handle. Is the BX describe the pattern or mold? Or is it an abbreviation for anything? Is this a lid for a dutch oven?

Thanks!

Two pattern letters usually meant there was a need for more than 27 working patterns (A-Z plus no letter). All BSR lids have spout cover ears because their dutch ovens had a pour spout and it was more economical to just produce the one style. Also because skillet/DO sets were sold with a single cover to use for both.
