Squareg Frying Pan

Here's a what I think is a curious pan. Not sure what it would be used for, as the very shallow sections are just 3 1/8" square. Our foundry database says there's also a No.1 and a No.2, which I assume would be one section and two section pans.

Anyone have any info on this, or better yet, have a No. 1 or 2?

Doug, feel free to use my picture for the database.

Just speculating, but based on the punny name "Squareg" i.e. "Square Egg", it could have been used to fry eggs into square shapes. Maybe to be a better fit on a piece of toast?

No information, but it's a neat piece. You could make homemade McGriddle sandwiches! Make square pancakes and square eggs, slap some bacon and syrup in there and chow down!
