Thanks to the great info available here, I was able to turn an old family heirloom skillet back into what it should look like. Really couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Thanks for all the information!

Outstanding job you have done. Isn't it amazing what is hiding under all that crud? To me as I raise one out of my E tank it feels like I am unwrapping a gift!
 
I have to admit, this started off as a one-time project just to clean up my inherited pans...but now I'm hooked. I have already built a second, larger E tank with a better power supply...and I'm trying to figure out where I can find more treasures!

My wife, however, is probably not equally excited about it.
