Griswold's "Silverlike" finish

Hi Doug,
I was reading a page on your site where it says "Griswold's "Silverlike" was a matte, unpolished chrome finish. Wagner's "Silverlite" appears to have been the same."
http://www.castironcollector.com/plated.php

Please do some checking on this as a c.1932 Griswold catalog, in the "Silverlike" pages says "These utensils are nickeled over inside and out making a clean, attractive "Silverlike" finish. They are not polished.

These are later Griswold nickeled pans and not the earlier polished ones going back of the ERIE days when the nickeled pans we see are not nickeled on the inside other than the top half inch or so. Were they ever fully nickeled and the plating wore off or were they mostly black iron on the inside of those earlier pans?

Is there a difference between "unpolished" and "not polished", or "matte" and "flat"? My understanding has been that, as of 1932, there were 3 plated chromium Griswold finishes: "chromium"/polished, "Silverlike"/flat, unpolished, and "DuChro"/flat with polished highlights.
