Default Mexican Cast Iron

I'm cleaning up a double tortilla griddle to sell. bad grease and crust+ rust (I've been using it over a wood fire for years) and I thought it unmarked. But as the crust is coming off some letters are emerging on the rim, to my surprise. I think they are going to say " hecho en mexico". So is anything known about Mexican cast iron?

Thats what it should say. I have a few skillets. They are not made real good, but for a user they work as good as a Griswold if taken care of.
