I just took this out of the lye tank to put into the eTank. I normally don't take pictures at this point, but I was pleasantly surprised at what I uncovered. I suspected it possibly could be a smooth bottom, slant when I bought it. There was so much crud on bottom that I couldn't be sure. I actually fully expected to find a heat ring when the crud was gone. Page 13 of the Blue Book says these were made in a 2,3,5,8, and 9 c. 1939-1944. Very cool
