Default Self Basting Lid and Unknown Pan.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a little help with a pan. I was given a Griswold #7 self basting lid with a unknown pan. He thought it was a Griswold but I am unsure because of it only having the number 7 on the bottom and a small what looks like a number 4 on the smaller handle. The pan is three inches deep.

thanks

Skillet appears to be a single notch Lodge.

Looking at the underside of the handle I'd say it's a Birmingham Stove & Range .

no. see how it 'flattens out' where it meets the skillet wall. I think the others are right with single notch lodge.

I'd say 1-notch Lodge chicken fryer. Has the assist tab and a handle not like the normal 1-notch skillet.

Thanks for the help everyone. Going to clean it up and put it to use. I am most excited about the lid but unfortunately it does not fit on my #7 National.
Back story is he bought it at a auction about 30-35 years ago. He out bid is mother not knowing they were bidding against each other. I guess his mother was short and all he could see was someones hand placing bids...
