I found this at a swap meet yesterday for $30. I
thought it deserved to be put back into use.... 24
hrs. later with a lil' butter and maple syrup we are
good to go. Nice crispy outside (I'll get better at the
shape with practice).... easy clean up. Delicious. Any
date range ideas ?.. has the patent date of 1905.
Thanks. Lucky find.

Although the 975 base is correct for the 885/886 paddle set, this one likely originally came with an earlier 976/977 set.

thanks ..... great addition to my cast iron. Glad
to find another survivor and put it back in play.
A keeper.

I would have bought just the base for $30... and still thought I got a good deal. the base and paddles in that condition was a steal.

D Madden .... I normally dicker but when the
seller said "$30"...I couldn't even get the wallet
out fast enough. I did not know enough to know
that this "set" represents 2 different eras. (thanks
Doug). As it is a keeper I don't think that knowledge
would have changed my opinion. Any idea on the
date ranges for this waffle iron ? Glad to find one
without any flaws, a quality build. Finds like this one
makes all the hunting worthwhile. Thanks.

(she likes it too !)
