I actually bought this about 3 weeks ago, but it was a long way from me, so I had my son check it out since it was near him, and he got it for me along with some hollow ware. He couldn't get it here till this weekend. Got a lot of work to do, but looking forward to every minute of it.

What it is is a cast iron wood stove from PHILLIPS & BUTTORFF in Nashville, Tenn made circa 1890. Got it from a couple around 60 yrs old who said it was Grandma's oven. It has rust, but should clean up nice. I will post some pictures when I can get it to work. Son say it may be the resolution on my camera, but I don't know. Maybe you can help me out on that, Doug.

Part of this post plus a reply seems to be missing. I finally set the resolution on my phone to its lowest setting and it worked. I guess my son was right.
