Little identification help

Picked this no 8 griddle up ....no markings other than a raised 8 at 6 o'clock and a small molders mark below ...that I can see ....anyone have any ideas

I was leaning towards lodge but wasn't sure ...I need to brush up on recognizing handle design ....so 1940's -50's ????
 
Probably a little earlier. The best guess is based more on the raised size number (shape and size) and the molder's mark.
