Default P.F. Crossan

Anyone know if this was made by P.F. Crossan? The only marking is P.F. on the bottom, it is gated. Any info would be awesome. Have a great day.

Seems like if it was the manufacturer's mark (as opposed to a molder's mark) it would be a bit less cryptic and actually use the initial of the manufacturer's last name. Since the only reference I can find to a P.F. Crossan is a 1922 waffle iron patent, and this piece seems quite a bit older than that, I tend to doubt there's any connection.

That is what I thought as well. Just hoping. Thanks for the response.
