Default Coke?

We all have grown up hearing of the miraculous cleaning power of Coca-Cola. The Mythbusters even devoted most of an episode to it. Has anybody ever tried it on CI? It might be worth a couple of dollars on a piece of flea market junk to experiment, just for fun.

Default Re: Coke?

I believe MB found it worked as a chrome cleaner, which they scrubbed using aluminum foil. On rusty bolts, it didn't do anything one would consider effective. Vinegar works better, is more acidic, is cheaper, and not sticky.
