Insane!

I'm priced out of Ebay. That's for the rich and the lucky.

WOW, Every time I'm feeling happy about my collection, I see an odd piece like this and think, I've gotta get one of those! Then I check my pile of bills, and my bank balance and realize I'll have to hunt long and hard, be lucky, and find one on my own.

Added to watch list. I love to see how other people spend their money on iron, and live vicariously through their fat wallets.

Does any one know what the highest (certifiable) price is for a piece of collectable cast iron?

This just seems outrageous to me

"unless you request special handling" The reason I didn't bid on this, is I could not afford the extra twenty dollars worth of bubble wrap.
