Hi all, a web search trying to ID a skillet I bought this weekend led me here. Glad to be here and hopefully be a good contributor! Anyway, I bought a skillet this weekend. It's a number 8 size, with a Lodge-like handle, a barely visible 8 on top of the handle, two pour spouts, and on the underside there is an outside heat ring, with a "D" at 6 o'clock. General description has led me to Blacklock, but it is my understanding that those marks were raised as opposed to incised like these ones are. Certainly appears to be a 1920s piece or thereabouts, and has a very smooth cooking surface. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. Footnote: One of my pics won't upload, it is a closeup of the "D" on bottom. It is an Italicized letter, roughly 1/4" to 7/16" in size.
