If a web search for the answer to your cast iron cookware question has brought you directly to this forum, the information you seek may be covered in one of the many reference topics featured on the main website.
It was a somewhat deep #12 skillet. Only markings were ones in pic. Looked like older stuff - cast iron was not 100% consistent. Thought it over and decided to pass, but not sure if that was a good idea....
They wanted $69 for it. However, I am in MT, and decent cast here is relatively scarce - it brings prices that most in the country would balk at. There were no marks on the bottom - unfortunately I did not snap a pic, but no sign of removed legs that I could see/note.
To me, this isn't the kind of piece you want to pay a premium, antique store price for. It's one you want to find in a rusty pile, pay $5 or $10, and restore it yourself.
It looks like Martin stove I have 2 like that and both came with exact same lid,I was luck I paid $25dlls for one and 2 weeks later I found the second one more expensive $40 dlls,no body wants to buy those because the legs,(Hard to remove them)so I'm doing a favor to those people,I buy those so they don't have to worry how to remove the legs.lol https://m.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Martin-...154692?hash=item1a48f4d584:g:EZ4AAOSwrIlauCgi
