Mainly a small internal combustion engine company these days, but in their history they made hollow ware (skillets). One I received is in the Lye tank, forgot to take a picture.

I'm not sure the tecumseh that made hollow ware is related in any way to the tecumseh that made small engines and compressor motors and stuff... the tecumseh products company wasn't created until the 1930's... and based on the characteristics of the tecumseh hollow ware that I've seen they were all made long before then.

Interesting. I guess I assumed with such a unique name they were affiliated.

Looks like the engine company is headquartered in MI, but is 'only' 80+ years old, while the hollowware company (also Michigan based, apparently) might have been out of business 80 years ago.

Being MI based, I jumped to the conclusion they were related, maybe not?

I think the fact that they are both in/around Tecumseh michigan and both in the iron foundry kind of business makes it seem like they should be related... but I'm pretty sure the name of each comes from the town and not that they are necessarily related in any other way. but there isn't a lot of history on the tecumseh foundry that made the hollow ware either.
