Last month I picked up a dutch oven in downstate Illinois from a farm estate while in town for a wedding. I probably overpaid, but it had a trivet and a cool lid. I reseasoned it and finally got to experience DO cooking! We did a roast Saturday night, and Sunday we did ribs because we were on such a meat high! We don't normally do two big meat nights, but it was so good!
Even the Mrs. who previously tolerated my #8 BSR and Lodge pans was impressed with how the DO. We are definitely going to be experimenting with recipes and how to cook with it. I want to try it stovetop too.
