Default Wagner #6 question

I picked up 2 Wagner #6 at a yard sale for $10 a piece. Cleaned them up, then noticed one is a good bit heavier than the other. Obviously, looking at them the wall is thicker too. Other than that (and a letter diff 1056V vs 1056C) they are the same. Any ideas why one is heavier?
