Camp pots

Older gatemarked pieces are more often than not the product of one of hundreds of small foundries pre-1900. Unless they have distinctive identifying marks or unique design, who made them is usually impossible to determine.
 
It worked this time, Jack. Sorry but I can't help with either of these. I've seen the 1st one before (with the chain) and I have what appears to be the same one as the 2nd one, although it's in worse shape. Haven't tried restoring it. Let me know if you find out any info. on it. I haven't been able to. Sorry I haven't been much help. :(

Thanks for trying Steve. I am hoping Doug D. will know something about them. Frankly, I like the red one enough that I may buy it to use as a holder for my long spoons, ladles and spatulas that I use on a regular basis.
