Andy, first of all welcome. The Turk Head pan is used to make various types of muffins. I've also seen folks make cornbread muffins in them too.

I still haven't cleaned mine as I've got a lot in the queue ahead of it and seem to keep putting things ahead. I'm planning on chocolate muffins or cupcakes when I finally get around to it.
