Anyone looking for a lid??

I had a great day hitting thrift shops today. One of my finds was a skillet lid that I got at Goodwill for $5. I'm not sure of the manufacturer.

Doug, thanks for the reminder on "buy sell" suggestions on this site--it is such a temptation sometimes. I would be happy if anyone can comment on what the item is. My first thought was lid for chicken fryer or something such, but I admit I don't think I've seen another piece just like it, so am in the dark here. Just curiosity getting the better of me... Based on the bottom side of the handle I'd say you have a Vollrath. Peel that sticker off. You might get lucky and find a small number 8 under it. If you do, and it's rotated 90 degrees compared to everyone else's bottom markings, then you definitely have a Vollrath.

The handle shape doesn't look quite right for Vollrath, even with the long rib.
