Weekend finds- #9 Martin and #9 Griswold slant

I located a seller with a boatload of old CI that was part of the estate of seller's late father-in-law's collection. It was a good mix of skillets, breakfast skillets, DOs, and other CI tools and even some CI mailboxes, mostly Wagner, marked and unmarked, Griswold small block, BSR, unmarked old Lodge. Two unusual finds: a #10 Glascock and an oval shaped Griswold #8 skillet with a silver looking finish to the CI. Seller had some of the CI books and told me it was worth about $900. I did not buy the Glascock, but I am going back soon and pick it; and I saw a small Favorite, a #7, I think, and pick it. Anyway, this is a #9 Martin "hamburger" logo and #9 Griswold 3¼"+ Diameter Cross In Double Circle, Italicized Lettering aka "Slant" Logo with heat ring "Erie" circa 1906-1912, from the sources here. What I find hard to believe is all the pickers before me passed up on this 100+ year old Griswold let alone the Martin. :chuckle: Anyway, here's a few pics before cleaning. Will post a few later after cleaning. Both were in great shape; but there was just a wee bit of rust pitting on the bottom of the Martin and it is not yielding any kind of shine on the bottom. It was really caked up from years of use. How much that #10 Glascock is worth, I don't know, but I'm going back soon to pick it. It was in great shape; hardly used; maybe a 1960s made just before Glascock closed in 1964. The fonts on the bottom were huge. I meant to get a picture, but just too busy picking!

oval shaped griswold #8 ? I thought the oval griswold 'fish skillets' were all really big sizes... like 13, 15, 16, 17... with some odd half sizes thrown in sometimes.

I could have been mistaken with the #8. I wish I took a picture, but, just guessing, the length was about 10-11 inches or so excluding handle.
