Best method for cleaning stick pans and the like?

I was just wondering how everyone goes about cleaning stick pans and other items with lots of nooks and crannies?
I've been cleaning up a Lodge stick pan, the type that is just the 12 long bars, not the ear of corn type, and am having trouble with areas that I just can't get leftover rust out of. It was cleaned in an electrolysis tank with graphite plates. Everything but the tough to clean parts came clean just fine after scrubbing and rinsing.
What tools or methods do all of you use on such a piece?

Warm Lye works the best, Bonnie knows warm.:chuckle:

Go to a welding supply shop and get yourself a few SS wire brushes. Tooth brush size.:icon_thumbsup:

Then the E-tank. Works good for me

The electro tank works in a straight line/line of sight manner. You probably noticed that with only one electrode only one side gets cleaned. If there is a "shadow" on your pan, that area will not get cleaned.

Try tilting the pan in a different direction
