I recently purchased a Victor with outside HR and part number. I realize this can comfortably be dated to c1892-c1905. Some other characteristics are:
Modified/medium ribbed handle
Reinforced Lip on the rim
Distinct Reinforcing Pad for Handle
The WAGS Erie chart has something to say about these last two, (http://www.wag-society.org/guest/ERIESkilletArticle.pdf). They were being phased out in Eries by the Third series (also 1892-1905). By virtue of the fact that this Victor still retains both of these characteristics, (which I suspect were phased out independently), may I deduce that the Victor was likely cast on the early side of the 1892-1905 range? Please chime in.
