Griswold 16 Griddle

Does anyone have any information on this pan. The rarity and approximate value. My Sister got it at the Hillsville Va. Flea Market on Labor Day Weekend. It was painted on the bottom. I restored it for her and returned it without taking pictures after restoration. I’ll try to get some next time I’m at her house. By the way has anyone else been to this flea market? I walked over 12 miles in two days and didn’t see every vender. Thanks

I'll make a wild guess based on the P/N of 743 and the slant logo that it's probably around 1910- 1920 for an estimated circ. date. As for the rarity... not sure but it's one that you don't see every day. Values are normally based on rarity so with that being said I'm assuming value would be above $100 and maybe more. Good find...

I would doubt that #16 griddle was very common. I could be wrong since families were much larger back then, but I don't see many pieces larger than a #12.

Great find though. I'm jealous ;)
