What is the date range for gem pans marked N Waterman? When R&E got the patents in 1866, did they continue marking Waterman, or change over to R&E?

That one on the right without the extra support looks smaller.I recently found these two Waterman #8s. Note the support bar at the top and bottom of the one on the left. It is also slightly biggger with thinner walls on the cups. Not sure whether one is a reproduction or an improved design.
