Iron? Doorstop?

I always remember this used as a doorstop. Haven't seen it in years. Until today. I won't ask what it's worth, but is it something?

It has on it "No.7 Ober Pat Pend". At 94, Mom is "concerned" about the worth of the things she has. She watches too much Antiques Roadshow. If you ask her, EVERYTHING she has is a priceless antique, regardless of how many times I show her the reality. I look at this piece as kinda cool. I just thought I'd ask just how cool it might be.

Probably Ober Manufacturing Co. Chagrin Falls, OH. Sad irons aren't usually worth alot, many around here but I swear they are trying to use them as part of a retirement package.

Doorstop, it is. Besides. I'm not sure where I might be able to find a place that pays for scrap cast iron. Copper? no problem.
