Old Cast Iron Sinks...

My house was built in the very early 1900s, I was born here, ect. I have a white cast iron kitchen sink, kinda like a farm sink, and it defrosts meat way faster than just on a counter, or whatever....

Good deal on the DO. Im not too familiar with BSR, but thats a weird lid. I mean the drip things. Looks like a shaved down Lodge, lol....great find tho!

Looks to thick to be an Erie. Maybe a copy of one tho. The handle reinforcement looks like an Erie kinda. My 2nd series #9 doesnt have the number on the handle either tho.

That bean pot could be a recast from another foundry. The handles are what makes me think that. And yeah, after 1965 itll say Made In The USA.....most good CI is, just a lot older.

If I had to guess, Id say its an unmarked Wagner Ware. Not too bad for Goodwill really. I have a little luck there.

Im not a Lodge guy per se, but wow thats a rare piece! Ive seen the pics of the Dinkys Auction, and they usually have it all. Very Nice pan, I wish Wapak woulda put an assist handle on their big ones...

Wow! Now thats a set of #6s.....i like the small stuff to collect, and the big ones to use. I have always been like that......I saw a Favorite piqua ware DO, enamled. and a#7....my wife worked there...

I saw on ebay a #6 Wapak dutch oven....I wonder how small they actually made them? I have never seen a #6. Or a #7....usually from #8 to #10.
