3-hole Handle #3 with P/n 668

I picked this up today, guy selling said it was Griswold and all my googling leads to Gris but not much more than that. Seems to match the Griswold description in the unmarked iron section of this...

ID Confirmation of What I Think is Griswold New American Waffle Iron

Picked this up today, from what I can tell from the blue book looks like a New American from Griswold circa 1880's (I can make out what looks to say AMERICAN on the inner circle). All the pictures...

Re: Help ID'ing #12 Spider Skillet and Bailed Griddle

Thanks Doug. Any more info on the Lodge ID, or known date range? I looked in the red book and the closest I could find was the camp hollow ware but the handle looked slightly different and it said...

Re: Help ID'ing #12 Spider Skillet and Bailed Griddle

Here's the bailed griddle. Only marking is a raised 12 AP at 6'oclock on the bottom.

Help ID'ing #12 Spider Skillet and Bailed Griddle

I picked these up yesterday, but can't find anything online that matches. Anyone know anything about these?

Attached are the spider skillet images, 3rd image is underside of lid. Looks like I'll...

Re: Confirmation - Unmarked Wagner?

I'm not aware of any unmarked Wagners that have the pointed hanging hole. Also, that hole is fairly short and combined with the wide handle seems off like you say (though I do have a marked Wagner...

Re: Erie #9 Shallow Skillet, Dutch Oven

Forgot to post the restored photos. The cooking surface is nearly flawless, the bottom has some shallow pitting (the "Erie" and "9" are a little more clear than the lighting shows), and it sits...

Re: Wapak with Gate Mark?

I don't know, minus the gate mark I could see this being a Wapak casting :chuckle:

Re: Erie #9 Shallow Skillet, Dutch Oven

Here's a photo of the top/inside of the dutch oven. It's not rounded on the bottom, meaning it's like a 90 angle from the flat bottom to the vertical sidewall.

Erie #9 Shallow Skillet, Dutch Oven

Today I picked up this shallow skillet, a Jotul #2 (anyone know much about these?) and a few Wagner smooth bottoms and an unknown from facebook marketplace. All I knew with the shallow skillet was a...

Re: ID Help for Family Pass Downs

My guess was also Asian import mostly based on the handle (shape, length, hanging hole, the lip and (thumb rest?) where it meets the pan). The lack of markings is less telling on its own, but...

Re: Weekend Finds and an Unknown Pan

Dang, there are some great finds in there! Especially if they aren't damaged or warped. Nice score!

Re: 3 Notch Lodge #4 with Raised '4' Molders Mark at 6

Thanks MDFraley and Doug. According the the numbers and letters page, letters were more likely molders marks, and numbers more likely shift identifiers. Doug, are you saying with Lodge specifically...

3 Notch Lodge #4 with Raised '4' Molders Mark at 6

In my short time collecting, I haven't seen any 3 notches with a raised molders mark at 6'oclock, and I only recall letters not numbers in this position. I realize that there isn't necessarily a...

Re: Griswold Aebleskiver # 31 P/n 963 Rarity?

Thanks for the info MDFraley! It is marked as such. Looks like its in good condition, a little rusty on the bottom but nothing too bad. Think I'll make the offer.

Griswold Aebleskiver # 31 P/n 963 Rarity?

French Roll Pan ID Help

I saw this and passed at an antique store, there were 2 identical for $49 each. Only markings I could see were on the bottom side of the handles, "No 11" on the top (along with some kind of molders...

Small logo #10:

How to Clean Le Creuset 24 with Wood Handle?

I picked up this skillet a few weeks back for $5 at a garage sale. I don't know much about Le Creuset (other than name recognition) or how to restore and clean enameled CI. What's the best way to go...

Re: Today's Barn Sale Haul

Thanks Doug!

It was interesting, for the waffle iron and the gem pan he pulled up ebay to find similar prices as he hadn't marked any of them yet and didn't know what they were worth (nor did I...
