Yes, it does have the tab across from the handle. That is a twin to it except for the markings on the bottom.

I collect them. Its something that you can collect that doesn't take up a lot of room to keep. Keep mine hanging in the garage.

$100000 raised so far. I think I saw the price was $30 per skillet and if that is correct then less than 3400 produced.. Really not that many considering the population of the U.S.

It could have well been the restaurant as I found the skillet about 25 miles from where it was. My wife was thinking at one time there was a luggage and purse store in Birmingham with that name also....

BSR I believe, 50's maybe 60's. Handle has "ROSENBUSH" raised. Maybe the pics will give more info. Trying to find out whom/what the business was and any help will be great. Thanks

Thanks for the add. Been buying and selling cast iron since around 1973. Just found advertisement skillet I haven't seen before and looking for info.
