Thats a great job!!! I would never be able to do a WI, I have low patient. This looks brand new. Should have a sticker saying 2.99 or whatever they costed back then. Great job!!!!

Got it up and running, just a few odds and ends. Went to make a fire this morning, no go........then I read online that the flu needs primed, or heated up. I used a hair dryer and it worked really...

Welcome to The Forums! Looks like a late 60s or 70s wagner. The very small pour spouts or lack thereof has me wondering if its even newer? Looks pretty thick, and the made in USA means after 65ish.

Thanks for the ideas.....we put a rain cap on the pipe, so far so good. I may try to paint that tape,,I hated to use the tape, but caulking just wasnt enough. Its where the double wall meets the...

I didnt like to put on the stove pipe tape, but I had too. This is an ongoing project for me and my wife, and I THINK we are done.........gotta hang the fireboard to the walls, but thats it.

Thanks.....the window is now firebaord, the top is still glass. I have an old house, so its single pane glass, but we put the bottom window up and sealed it tight, so its almost like double pane...

Got the fire board installed, and some stove pipe. Not drafting right yet, so its up on the ladder today to get it higher up. Anyone looking to do this theirselfs, its a LOT of work, nothing fits...

Besides the crack and repair, its an awesome skillet. I have never seen a pour spout like that, ever. Im only about 10 years into the hobby/life style but I think its cool. The gate mark says to me...

I never saw that different handle on the Wapak. I learn something every day on here. I personally like the scooped out handle, but thats a personal preference.

I was wondering if anyone knows how Wapak made their sad irons? Did they use others molds? I have one with a wooden handle that comes off....and its kinda like a few others ive seen....Wonder where...

OK...so I was given a Griswold #8 DO, no lid, and its in BAD shape. There is no fixing it. So, I have it in my yard on a mini haymaker, Im letting it sit with water in it and see how long it takes to...

Is it a skillet or a dutch oven or bean pot? Some had 3 legs.....maybe yours is just a rarity.
