Re: 10 1/2" Skillet

Was trying to add a pic of the inside and it kept failing so I reloaded it and hopefully it will copy over to this reply. Think if someone stripped it of Teflon there would be visible signs of...

10 1/2" Skillet

Was wondering if by chance Wagner made this skillet before Randall took over the Wagner/Griswold line of cast iron? Looking on p.186 of the Red Book it shows a pic of this same skillet but it also...

Re: I'll Be Dog-Gone "Home"

Know exactly what you mean. The main reason I stop at the one by me is because it's about 100 yards from the grocery store. Not sure how the Lodge pan made it thru their sorting people unless they...

I'll Be Dog-Gone "Home"

Had to go to town this morning so I did my usual stops at the local thrift store and Goodwill. Found the yellow Descoware Fish Pan (FE 3) at the thrift shop for $4.99. It's in excellent condition and...

Re: Anybody Want to Take a Guess on This One?

Since this is a "GUESS" post suppose we all could theorize most anything. There were several skillets that had three notches placed at 120 degrees apart but they also had straight raised lines...

Old Wapak

Came across this old Wapak a few weeks back at a local Thrift Store. I knew it wasn't in the best of shape but for $8.00 I decided to clean up as good as possible and hope it sets flat. Mission...

Re: Griswold Waffle Iron?

All are Griswold pieces. The paddles are not a matching pair. Should be a 885 & 886 paddles that go with the base you have. Like most CI makers in that period they all made pieces for department...

Re: Yard Sale Finds

Thanks Sean. Got both of the CO's for total of $50. The Gourmet marked pan came from a local thrift shop for $4.99. The main reason I bought the WW was that I recognized the four digit p/n and when I...

Re: Martin (King Stove & Range) Spider / Hearth Spider

Nice piece. I have the #11 which I consider a bit harder to come across. Don't think I ever posted it here on CIC.
There is a bio on page 202 of the RB that has the history of the KS&R and the MS&R...

Re: Griswold SBL #4 Early Handle Skillet?

My apologies. Should have read your post more thorough. The BB doesn't show a #4 early handle so apparently they didn't make one.
