My first thought was itís paint, so I slathered it in paint stripper - didnít do a thing. Then it went in to a lye bath - didnít do anything.

So I guess it must be enameled. I wish it wasnít.

Boundary Waters CI skillet - best I can tell they were purchased from a local department store in the 50ís-60ís - Daytonís.

Found this today. Light as a feather. Has any one seen something similar?
Before I stick it in the lye bath, should I have concern with the two rivers that appear to be copper?

I often wondered the same thing. Didn't people wipe off the outside when something spilled over? I'd hate to see their stove(s).

Wagner 1059 Without ď9Ē

I canít seem to find other Wagner 1059 pans without the ď9Ē on the top of the handle. Is this unusual?
