I brought this skillet home yesterday
P141271w_zps1099bc1e.jpg

and proceeded to clean it up using my favorite method
(oven cleaner, soft wire brush, scotch brite, hours and elbow grease
followed by heat, meat fats and an initial seasoning with aromatic vegetables)

I don't think it's that old.
The dimensions are
out to out with the handles = 20"
17 1/2" not including the handles
9 1/4 inches wide
and 2" deep.
The bottom is stamped
3052 D
(Lodge?)

I'm thinking this will be handy on the camp stove.
Line up a few steaks and some grilled onions??
Thanks and regards!

Thanks Doug,
Interesting link to the portable stove!
Thank you!
I am able to use it on the kitchen stove,
but I had in mind to bring it camping.
I picked it up for $20 at a local feed store that sells
"junk" in the back.
I have an old Atlanta Sove Works
"Pep Stove" that had broken legs.
We had them welded/braised (?) back on,
but the repair re-separated during a move.
I think it's an old laundry stove.

Looks like a great user..! I am in tifton, ga....where are you located?
We are 60 miles NE of ATL...near Athens, (and near) Commerce etc.
(about 30 minutes from the Lodge Factory store in Commerce, GA)
Tifton: Georgia's Agri-Capitol! Nice!

Plynn, I think this pan is a great score. I would like to find one. I picture a big rack of ribs in it, and it would surely come in handy if you were cooking for a large group of people.
