Pretty In Pink...

.... or "Flamingo Red"-- close enough :icon_thumbsup:

Thought you would get a kick out of my recent find, my first enameled Griswold skillet. Cream interior/ flamingo red exterior. In very nice condition, very slight wear on the back, cooking surface. and pour spout- and a small chip on the inside handle.

I'm for sure no expert on enameled Gris pieces, but found this to be interesting- looks to fall within the "medium logo" period of 1955-1957 (which is in-line with the use of this style handle c1944-1957), but different than other skillets with this handle (which contain the small logo c-1944-1957 BB. p. 14) any thoughts?

Thanks,
-J

I passed up on one of those a few months ago, couldn't find anything on it and knew nothing about enamelled pieces... It's long gone now. What is something like that worth in good shape?

Hey RobM,
I've seen them sell for as much as $45 on ebay, but so much of it dependents on the quality of the enamel.....

I just thought it was cool as I have never ran into one before, and all the Le Creuset that I see is so completely beat up!
