Waupaca Foundry

just picked up a cast iron griddle at a resale store

unsure how old it is as it has been abused not cared for very well

the manufacturer is clearly visible "Waupaca Foundry" on one side and "Marionette Plant" on the other

I have never seen this brand name on cookware and was wondering about its age

is this a regional thing (i live about 150 miles south of Waupaka)

or mass produced and distributed?

You'll need to add some photos.

Re: Waupaca Foundry

Sounds reasonable. Cookware doesn't appear to be among their normal offerings.

couple pics

if i google waupeka foundry they seem to be more of an industrial manufacturer no mention of cookware I suspect there were a limited number of these made as promotional samples not "collectible" but looks like I should be able to knock out some pancakes on it
