Hello from Southern California

hey, I just joined, I have had a "small pile" (as my wife calls it) of Dutch ovens in the garage for years, but with my son in scouting I started using my ovens. Now I look at every thing I find, yard sales, swap meets, thrift stores. I have to say I am hooked. I recently found a Gurney high straight pot, it has three feet on the bottom with a round bottom to the pot. it looks like it would set into the wood stove ring when the cooking plate was removed. yet other than a 1892 Gurney catalog I have found no other reference to the Brand.
