zero markings on sauté pan

I never saw a handle like that either. Only having one spout makes me think its old, but it could be an Import.
 
Certainly an oddball. Side-gated and smooth bottom would imply mid-1930s or after, but the single lip is out of place for that era, or on a saute pan in general. Can't tell if the undulation of the bottom of the handle is intentional or not.
 
Guess it's time to make up my own provenance. I'm thinking prototype made for Teddy Roosevelt to take on one of his expeditions to the west.
