Default Spider Skillet, of Course I Bought It...

...my friend found this up north in MI, texted me pics and asked if I wanted it. She talked the seller down to $60:

How bad did I get taken? It seems to be in real good shape, and my friend said if I didn't buy it, she was.

This sits perfectly flat, not even any slight rocking. I'm almost hesitating to strip and re-season this. Any insights on age/value are appreciated.

Never having held much appeal for me personally, pieces like this are out of my wheelhouse. I do wonder if it is as old as its design implies. Someone with the "grey book" might be able to lend some insights as to whether the leg "D" profile is consistent with pans of that type. BTW, with three legs, it shouldn't rock, even on an uneven surface.

I cant tell you what its worth, but I wouldnt strip it.....looks like its in good shape.....up to you tho.
