I keeping my eye out for the Griswold rabbit cake mold, but I would like to use it with chocolate. Has anyone used one of these molds with chocolate? Does it come out easy or is it not recommended?
I have had varied success with the molds. I found the rabbit to be too difficult to use due to the indentations. I was able to make a Santa and most of a lamb. I also have a Pudgy Pig mold that is fun.
I brush on shortening and freeze them completely. Then I remove the shortening. Not easy but it can be done. Perhaps someone has had more success than I with the rabbit.
