#12 Lodge 3 Notch

On Vacation in Florida and always go to the Wagon Wheel Flea Market.
Picked up 3 pans one is a #12 Lodge 3 Notch
Looks to be in very good shape, very flat.

The surface on the bottom and inside wall look the same like they were ground but I wonder if this is the Factory finish ?????

Wondering what everyone thinks about the finish.

It is factory. By the time this pan was made, the mirror polish was probably no longer an option (if it ever was for large pans). Lodge had "red label" (polished) and "blue label" (mirror finish) polish grades. Polish grinding appearance can also vary depending on how worn the grinding stone head was.

Thanks Doug.
I figured that it was a Factory Finish because of the circular pattern.

Any idea of a range of years on this pan ?????

Thanks Doug

I picked it up for my Nephew, he has a Breakfast/Lunch Diner.

He wanted something large to cook Peppers in.

I picked it up for $20 which surprised me :)
