Painted Pot?

This pan looks painted two vinegar solutions so far?
Do I dare to use a stripper, right verboten, but what I see is a primer underneath?

More looks like paint.

Lye might take it off, electrolysis should. Vinegar probably not. Citristrip might be a good choice.

I found a Griswold Patty bowl about a year ago that had been painted and used the Citrus-Strip and it did remove the paint. It took several sessions but it will come off.

I tried the lye bath on my initial attempt and it had little to no effect which could have been due to the type of paint/primer that was applied. Hopefully the lye will work and if not try the Citrus-Strip as an alternative. In either case good luck.
