Flea Market Today

Agree, small one lodge and is flat. Bigger one spins, no flat surfaces at this flea market. Still think it can be a user.

I recently found a BSR #8 like yours but w/a letter B. I know that there are a lot of different letters on these skillets but I wondered if there is any rhyme or reason to the letters? In other words were they released in alphabetical order so and A would be the oldest, or did the letter correspond w/something else?

Just wondering...

That Bsr is one the earliest, the number and the letter is hand made,if is me I keep The Bsr and give away the lodge.

Edgar, I agree about keeping the BSR. However, aren't the pour spouts to small and the 8Z to close together and to close to 6:00 for the skillet to be an early Red Mountain?

You right,I didn't notice the size of the pour spouts, and the lye pic the number 8 looks like is hand writing, when is clean I can see clearly is like machine made, very perfect,it is century series, probably the lodge is smother than the BSR.
