Hello. I joined because I occasionally need help identifying cast iron and this looked like a good resource. I know quite a lot about cast iron, but it seems like the more I learn, the less I truly know about it. This is the first place I started using to identify skillets and dutch ovens, and I've appreciated all the help it has given me from photos to advice. What remains are practical comments from people who love cast iron and don't mind sharing information without being critical or angry about it. My first question on the Wagner & Griswold Society website about a corn stick pan's origins got me a rude response. I don't want that. I hope this is a positive place for collectors and restorers like me. Thank you.
